James, welcome to Stunning Men and a big thank you for taking the time to do the interview. You are from Perth, Western Australia ...
Yes, born and bred.
First thing first ... how did you get into modelling?
I showed my interest to Chrystofa Aarons from CSA Models, and he shared a mutual interest in the idea of myself taking up modelling under his agency. And here we are today
What do you think is the most fulfilling thing about modelling?
Like with anything that you put effort into there comes a sense of achievement. When you are able to get through a shoot and be happy with the results.
How comfortable are you in showing off your physique in a shoot?
I feel pretty comfortable within myself and am proud of my physique, so I would say that I am quite comfortable.
You are looking amazing. How on earth did you get into such shape?
I am very strict on the timing of my meals as well as very conscious of the calories that I consume each day, being consistent is what it’s about and now that I have been this way for so long it’s no longer difficult as it’s become a way of living.
When did your passion for fitness start?
I have always had a passion for fitness; it became particularly strong during high school and I just kept it going since.
What keeps you determined and driven to work out?
The feeling that I am bettering myself, even though it may seem shallow to some but our bodies are a representations of our standards, and I have a very high standard for myself.
What is your diet like?
My diet is pretty clean. I eat a lot of red meat and veggies. I don’t drink any alcohol and I supplement with vitamins as well as protein powders.
If you had a cheat day, what would be your favourite food?
Hickey beef ribs! My favourite!
Can you share your fitness regimen with us?
Nothing special, 5 days a week I spent about 1 hour of just weights, I don’t do very much cardio but once I do get into the gym my heart does not stop pumping!
And what’s the best form of cardio for you when you do?
If doing cardio I love to run along the coast.

Yes, I’m great fun! Easy going and good to talk too!
Your favourite song or piece of music to play while training or running?
Fight music – Eminem.
Do you have any other passions besides fitness?
Yes, I enjoy meditating. I make sure I do.
What can’t you live without?
My friends!
Could you finish these two sentences for us? You wouldn’t know, but I’m very good at …
… meditating.
Now ... I’m just not very good at …
… swimming.
One last question James, what is your big dream?
I would like to use my passion for fitness and nutrition to help people suffering from addictions channel that addictive nature into bettering themselves, like I did.
